Chariots for Hire reached the beach at about 16:15 hours this afternoon, 24 -3/4 hours after we started. We've chowed at the finish line, swam in the ocean (art and christoph) and generally enjoyed this gorgeous, tacky spot called Hampton Beach - Florida of the north.
More details tomorrow. Suffice to say: it was GREAT! The team hung together and ran the race seamlessly. End results:
• 28th out of 430 teams
• 3rd out of 10 in our male "super master" age group (every member over 40)
We're beat, but have a party to attend with our New England buddies here at the motel. Over and out!
